A non-refundable 50% retainer fee is due up front to secure your date. The remainder, along with a 6.875% MN state sales tax fee, is due the day of session. Travel fees apply for locations greater than 30 miles from Grand Rapids, MN.

Your online gallery is available for 4 weeks to download all of your high resolution custom edited images, and you are granted printing rights to all of your images. You may purchase a CD with all of your images for $35 per session, or a USB for $50. Wall art and prints are also available.

1-2 hour maternity session, 10-15 digital images.

1-2 hour individual newborn session, 10-15 digital images

2-3 hour newborn session with parents and siblings, 20-25 digital images.

1-2 hour maternity session and 1-2 hour newborn session, 20-30 total digital images.

1 hour maternity session, 1-2 hour newborn session, 5-8 month (sitting) session, 1 year birthday session, and a photo book of first year.

Newborn Photography Guide for Parents

Newborn sessions include use of my props (headbands, blankets, wraps, etc.)

The best age for newborns is between 7 and 14 days old. Babies older than 1 month are not eligible for the newborn sessions (children and family sessions would then need to be considered).

Session time: 2-3 hours for sessions that include photos with parents and siblings. 2 hours for individual sessions. This may seem like a long time but much of the time during a newborn session is spent comforting baby and feeding breaks as needed. Babies are precious and I take my time to make sure the experience is enjoyable for both baby (or babies) and parents!

If you are including photos of baby with siblings, keep in mind that individual photos of baby will typically be done first, then photos with parents and siblings. Siblings should only be in the studio during the portion of session that they are included in. Please plan accordingly!

Prep:

If baby has hair, wash prior to session
Dress baby in a button down or zip-up onsie
Keep baby awake before session and right before your session feed baby again so he or she is good and sleepy. If session is taking place at the studio please feed baby once you arrive, not before you leave your house. A private room is available if desired.
Bring: Pacifier, Formula bottle if not breastfeeding, Extra change of clothes for parents (little messes sometimes happen), Any items you would like to incorporate into photos (specific blankets, toys, etc.) Let me know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly. Thank you!
